Job Description
Senior Software Engineer to serve as integration engineer on a software development effort for a large scale radar program. Ideal candidate has previous experience in radar software and in integration of complex, Real-Time, software systems. Must be capable of quickly gaining a big-picture understanding of radar software to assist in isolation and resolution of problems discovered during integration. Candidate has demonstrated proficiency in either Ada, C, or C++. Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface with a diverse group of program team members including Systems, Software, and Verification engineers.
Job Requirements
Minimum of four years experience in software development using Ada, C, or C++. Quick learner who can grasp big-picture understanding of a complex Real-Time, software system. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work with a diverse group of team members. BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or physical sciences required.
Nice to Have
Previous experience in developing or integrating Real-Time Radar software. Previous experience in performing software integration on a complex Real-Time, software system. Experience using Rational Apex and Clearcase. Development Experience on UNIX platforms. Development experience on defense related software systems. Existing DoD Secret Clearance. MS degree in Computer Science.
